It's time to Re+fresh your stock images on your website and in your print marketing to conjure happy moments at home as we leave summer behind and opt for more time indoors this fall and winter.
Although we've all heard the old adage that your marketing should depict a "forever summer" mentality, fall is the perfect time to capture some of the celebratory moments we have ahead of us. Who knows, it might strike a perfect balance with your audience, so they feel like other people are indoors doing some of the same activities and that they aren't alone.
Think of a bowl of winter citrus or a small lime tree on a kitchen counter, an orchid by a sunny window, or warm sourdough bread with a perfect shell right out of the oven. Show walks outside with a proper, wool bundle and a pet to keep cozy. Create an image palette that helps others see spaces and places as you want them to be perceived. All it takes are a couple visual cues and their imagination.
